CURRENT TITLE: Assistant Quality Engineer – IQC (Incoming quality control)

Roles and responsibility:

Ensure incoming quality of Machining, Stamping, plastic, Rubber, Forging, Die casting parts as per customer / Global requirements

Co-ordinate with CFT members for ECN updating in Supplier and In- house components

Prepare Agreement of inspection part wise mutually between suppliers and plant quality to meet quality levels as per standard

Responsible for periodic assessment of existing suppliers as per plan, identify non-conformance and follow up action plan to prevent recurrence

Responsible for Preparing Monthly supplier PPM, Supplier Score card and communicate to supplier on monthly basis and initiate action plan for improving performance

Communicate suppler performance matrix to Quality manager by Quarterly basis

Responsible for conducting worst supplier quality review meeting on monthly basis and monitor performance of suppliers.

Responsible for ensuring the process control and work with supplier according to project requirements

Monitor Supplier PPM and track quality rejections through supplier score card and drive suppliers for reducing PPM

Interact with Supplier on day to basis for quality issue and initiate action plan for improvement

Assist Suppliers in resolving their quality issue through global 8D process

Providing necessary training to suppliers to improve their performance

Knowledge in Machining process, Pressure die casting, Investment casting, Mag wires & rubber
