OBJECTIVE

Seeking a position as Marine Superintendent.

SUMMARY

Over 12 years managerial experience in tanker operation, 10 years shipboard experience in general cargo, containers vessels and Petroleum Tankers as mate and master.

In depth knowledge of proper Port Terminal Management and all relevant procedures

Demonstrated experience in managing a team of 12 oil terminal operators.

Ability to prepare Bill of Lading, mooring, shipping schedules, and coordinate with local parties as well as port authorities as required

Willing and able to learn new skills as required

Responsible for managing Oil Terminal at Khorfakan Port.

Experience: Operations Manager – Warm Seas Development and Trading Dubai, UAE 2010 – 2019

●Managed Company Oil Storage Terminal at Khorfakkan Port with a capacity of 35,000 cubic meter of black and white products (Fuel Oil and Gas oil) including a 240-meter ship jetty.

●Coordinated and ensure that Terminal activities associated with loading and off longing to maximize efficiencies and maintain on-time performance .

●Ensure compliance with company and legislated safety practices and procedures (e.g. holding daily toolbox meeting, documenting safety and incident, ensuring employee compliance with company personal protective equipment. etc.

●Investigate incidents involving employee or customer injuries or property damage; conduct root cause analysis and make recommendation on corrective actions, follow up to ensure corrective actions have been taken.

●Provide supervisory support to terminal staff to provide high level of customer service in accordance with company standard and policies, interact with customer and staff in in a professional and courteous manner, addressing customer question as required.

●Ensure daily staffing level at the terminal are appropriate to meet operational requirement by assessing the daily traffic volumes and vessel schedule.

●Prepare daily traffic related report to be distributed to designated shore and vessels department and managers.

●Coordinated with appropriate persons or departments to address maintenance or equipment deficiencies or repair required at the terminal.
