Developing in Perl, Java, JSP, ASP, JSON, GSON, jQuery with Oracle and/or SQL Server as the backend database. Also responsible for UI design, server administration and some email administration. Developed change control web application in Java, smaller Java web applications and several other business web applications in Perl, Java/JSP and ASP. Developed various MS Access apps with VBA. Recently using jQuery and CSS more with new template designs and AJAX.

Wrote stock ticker application in Java, enabling stock indices to be viewed on intranet, saving thousands of dollars in Internet account costs for employees.

Performed metrics of intranet activity through WebTrends tool on site(s), including IIS, Lotus Domino and WebSphere, allowing patterns to be studied and gauged and data gathered.

Developed and worked on applications such as job posting database, discussion forum and departmental surveys using ASP with SQL Server 7.0, 2000 and MS Access, reducing overhead and substantial office supply costs to Transamerica.

Designed sites, content and architecture using Macromedia’s suite with DreamWeaver Mx, Fireworks Mx and Flash Mx. Extensive use of DreamWeaver and Fireworks tools, which were used in creating a consistent, appealing design to all departmental sites within corporate intranet.
