EXPERIENCE DETAILS

Delivery Manager- Currently working as a Delivery Manager handling two Business Unit verticals with a number of products under each vertical. The combined team strength of the verticals is around 68, including 6 Technical leads and 2 Product principals. Effectively managing both the Client deliverables and Internal Strategic projects as per agreed timelines. Regular Planning, Resource allocation, Stakeholder management, Vendor management, Analyzing & troubleshooting delivery issues, Develop Scope and Budget for Delivery projects.

Highlighting the RAG of Projects to the management, forecasting and raising the Risk flag when necessary.

Scrum Master/Senior Project Management – Worked in a dual role as a Scrum master and Senior Project Management for 6 years with Temenos India Pvt Ltd. handling a team of 6 people to effectively managing our Product backlog via the scrum framework. Organizing daily Scrum standup meetings, facilitating Sprint review and Sprint retrospective. Making sure there are regular updates to the Sprint burn down chart and the Product backlog.

Regular Planning, setting up internal strategic projects, regular Project status updates, reasons for RAG, Raising Risk flag etc.. To Provide Metrics, Dashboards, and Scorecard data to the Management and to review these with the Product managers. Also as SPOC for Unicom’s Focal point tool which effectively connects Presales and Product teams, this is done to ensure more profitability, productivity and less duplication of work. Monthly reviews with Management to provide the status of the health of projects. Maintaining the Risk Register, Highlight/Lowlight report and exception report.

Project Management Office (PMO) – Worked as a PMO Support for 2 years with Xchanging (Singapore) & Xchanging (India). Have effectively coordinated and worked with Clients from UK, Singapore and Malaysia.

Singapore clients include Ministry of Education, Singapore Airlines and DHL APAC.

Management Executive – Worked as a management executive for British Telecommunication for 1 year with a team of 16 members in HCL Technologies and was promoted as the Floor coach in the Project. To regularly produce Metrics data by working closely with the Quality team and senior management.

Project #1:

Project Name : Delivery Management

Client : Temenos India Pvt Ltd.

Duration : 2018 till Date.

Location : Chennai

Role : Delivery Manager

Environment : MS Project, IBM Rational Team Concert, JIRA, Decision Tfocus

Roles & Responsibilities:

Providing overall development leadership and support product development teams in delivering high quality products within committed timeframes

Overall responsibility of Planning, execution and delivery of Product Developments and Enhancements.

Co-ordinate through various teams and stakeholders for all delivery activities and act as the escalation point for all development issues specific to delivery

Effective Project planning using MS Project/JIRA and progress monitoring including budget control and milestone control

Updating the RAG status of the projects, regularly for those ‘At Risk’. Raise Risk tickets, maintain the Risk register and follow up for Risk closure.

Managing Maintenance support for bugs/issues raised by client. Allocating and delivering fixes within the agreed SLA and dates.

Weekly work allocation and Capacity management across Enhancements and Maintenance items.

Working closely with Product Directors and Product Managers to define priority on Roadmap items and plan for its monthly release as per the available capacity.

Monthly Project status report presentations to the Management stakeholders

Participating in steering committee meetings, senior executive meetings and other management meetings.

Demand/Supply management

Regularly communicate and Interact with Internal stakeholders and Clients to provide precise and detailed reports and information

Ensuring 100% compliance to Quality and Release Processes

Updating information in the Lessons learnt document during the closure of the project and circulating it to the Senior Project Manager and Process engineering team.

Project Name : Scrum Master and Project Management

Client : Temenos India Pvt Ltd.

Duration : 2012 to 2018.

Location : Chennai

Role : Scrum Master/Senior Project Management

Environment : IBM Rational Team Concert, Unicom Focal Point, JIRA

Roles & Responsibilities:

Scrum Master

Assisting the scrum team in creating user stories and their acceptance criteria.

Facilitate the various scrum events such as daily scrum standup, sprint planning, sprint review and sprint retrospective.

Following up with the development team to ensure that a working software will be delivered at the end of each sprint.

Regular follow up with Product owner for product backlog refinement and sprint backlog update.

Ensuring efficient communication between the scrum development team and the Scrum product owner

Remove impediments for the scrum team to enable good quality outcome from each sprint

Ensuring the scrum team is always having a trust environment where issues can be raised without fear of blame or judgement with an emphasis on problem solving.

Follow up on regular updates to the Sprint burn down chart and updates to the release burn up chart post every sprint.

Working with Project manager on any capacity needs and training requirements

Facilitating constructive discussions, effective decision making and practice conflict of resolution.

In rare cases, arranging scrum of scrums (SOS) when there are dependencies between development teams.

Project Management

Create and monitor Client or Internally funded projects, update the Work breakdown structure, which includes the planned delivery dates, forecasted completion date for each stage and the SDLC tasks for employees.

Generating the monthly health report to track the project performance and present them in management board meeting.

To co-ordinate and act as a bridge between the Presales and Product team in effectively getting the Client requests into Focal point.

Contribute to effective planning in Rational Team Concert and to provide the planned versus forecast data to the management.

Tracking the SLA for each business unit within the product to make sure the fix requested by the client is provided within the stipulated time.

Providing the Project Dashboard to the Management on a weekly basis, this report tracks RAG, Current status, Project Health, Time remaining, next stage, exception document and highlights & lowlights of this month.

Preparing Monthly Dashboards for the Senior Management, which explain in detail the performance and SLA met by each Business Unit in the product. Also Comments are provided on the reason for the poor performance and higher defect inflow.

Maintain Critical clients specific SLA and tracking the issues raised by them for early closure. Also providing the time and quality adherence

Continuous monitoring and initiating enhancements in Unicom Focal point for Project portfolio management

Project #2:

Project Name : PMO

Client : Xchanging APAC

Duration : 2011 to 2012.

Location : Singapore

Role : Project Management Support

Environment : Whizible end user (PPM Tools)

Roles & Responsibilities:

To effectively co-ordinate with the Finance team for raising the correct invoice amount to Customers on time.

Timesheet reports generated and weekly reminders sent to the employees to maintain 100% timesheet compliance

Project Portfolio maintenance that includes SOW, PO, contracts and Addendums. Should be in constant touch with the Customers and Programme managers to keep the Project Portfolio updated.

Providing Utilization and Timesheet reports on a monthly basis to the Programme managers during the Organizational meetings.

Sending the Invoice to the Customers before the Monthly cut off dates and also maintaining the trail of Invoice sent to Client for follow-ups.

Provide inputs for the Yearly Organizational Metrics during the Process Engineering Team meetings and perform a SWOT analysis for each of the metrics before forwarding it to the management.

Preparing PowerPoint presentations for the Management on Resource Skills, Employee Utilization and Chargeability, Project performance, Revenue Backlog and Revenue loss.

Also Co-coordinating with the Pre-sales teams on any New Contracts or Change request and effectively liaise with the management and Finance team to give the go or no go for any new projects.

To Track Timesheet data, follow up with resources with missing time and to provide analysis on time spent for Management, Training etc…

Assist Delivery managers to create tasks, assigning them to resources, reviewing the project plan and correcting the estimated time.

To do monthly reviews with the Project and Product managers on the team metrics & performance and on any issue that needs to be addressed to the senior management. Contributing to the effective tracking of Projects from its Initiation to closure

SPOC for regular project updates in Whizible for various Xchanging entities.

Tracking the resource movements & updates in system periodically.

Analysis of the Monthly Invoicing and Chargeability reports for strategic customers in SAP.

Providing and analyzing resource utilization reports on Monthly and Year to Date basis from SAP and published to senior management.

Time sheet compliance tracked on monthly and weekly basis, continuous follow-ups with resources to ensure 100% compliance to increase productivity.

Project Description : To track the Metrics and maintain Key SLA’s in HCL technologies which provide broadband, telecom, Wireless, yahoo and other network troubleshooting issues to British Telecommunication.
