Summary

I have six years in General/shell construction as a rough carpenter and foreman. My experience has included residential, commercial, and custom built homes. I have built brand new turn-key homes from start to finish to remodels of houses that city inspectors would be afraid to enter. All the jobs I’ve supervised and worked on have been left in good standing with the client and city as safe well-built quality projects. I work on any project as if my name will stamped on it. Example of commercial projects I worked on would be the Herff Jones Building, Dezer warehouse while working for Myron Rosner (former mayor of North Miami), Porsche Design Building, Doral Hyundai, and Marcos Pizza chain. My experience has been more in residential due to volume of my work. The set of skills I possess are form building, stripping, rebar( tie beam, tie column, foundation, grade beam, footing and floating slab), precast, joist repair and installation, blocking of joists, reshoring bearing walls and roof/trusses, framing of bearing and partition walls(metal and wood), remodel and repair concrete openings, to lay out with a laser with or without self-leveler, read basic residential plans, metal column and beam installation, sheathing plywood floors on top of joists, drywall and durock installations, prepare all window and door openings, install Impact windows and door, and hurricane proofing a house with U-hangers and straps.

Accomplishments

I take pride that I have safely supervised for 6 years without any accidents to my workers, client or any pedestrians. My job is to make sure we finish on schedule and to protect the workers and the company. I've led a group of 12-20 workers on one job site. As a foreman, my responsibilities included safety, production of work, job site cleanliness and organization, materials (estimation and waste control), training, inspections and deliveries (materials, tools, plans, shop drawings and permits, etc.).
