Wireline Pump Down Perforation Junior Field Engineer, July 2018 – October 2019

Controlled wireline conveyed tool string down cased hole, pumped tool string into horizontal, and perforated the zone of interest as form of well stimulation for hydraulic fracturing operation. Also, led 2-4 person crews on explosive preparation and equipment maintenance and wrote reports on service quality and health, safety, and environmental issues.

Supervised a project with a new client that had no downtime, leading the team to follow procedures and resulting in the client choosing SLB for next job, securing an additional $100K in revenue.

Selected by Management Team to be the lead operator for the first job with a new disposable gun system, resulting in 0 misfires, 0 misruns and a viable new gun option that could save the company over $100K annually in the future.

Made decision to shut down job in situation with over 40 MPH winds due to safety concerns by crew members even though the company representative and crane operator did not want to.

Entergy Nuclear Power Plant, St. Francisville, LA May 2017 – August 2017

Engineering Student Intern

Worked as part of Engineering Code Programs team on pump failure and pipe leakage analyses for nuclear power plant. Also, assisted operators with Non Destructive Examinations as well as analysis of potential engineering changes, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams, and Process Flow Diagrams.

Saved $40K through decision not to inspect High Density Polyethylene buried piping based on analysis of ASME nuclear requirements and communication with other Code Programs Groups in Nuclear Fleet.

Created procedure to adhere to new fire protection system testing requirements, which was also used to identify faulty valves that needed replacement in order to pass the test in the future.

Undergraduate Research at LSU, Baton Rouge, LA May 2016 – May 2017

Worked on the integration of advanced materials into electrochemical processes and energy storage for the research team. Created polymer electrolyte membranes and tested them for maximum energy output with fuel cell and redox flow battery.

Created the data for the patterned proton exchange membranes in Fuel Cell portion of the first team research paper - Patterning Polymer Electrolyte Membrane for Fuel Cell and Electrolysis Applications - published by The Electrochemical Society in July 2017

Bimbo Bakeries USA (BBU) Bread Manufacturer, Atlanta, GA January 2016 – May 2016

Worked as part of Lean Transformation Team on product and process analysis for a bread factory. Also, assisted in updating standard operating procedures and set up charts as well as using Minitab, sample testing, and Key Performance Indicators to improve product quality and compliance with standards.

Directed bun wrap operators in creating standardized equipment markings for changeovers which led to a reduction in each changeover by up to 1 minute and saved up to $30K per year.

Led classes on lean tools such as root cause problem solving, 5 why’s, value stream mapping.
