DAVID THOMAS MASON
Operations Management
PROFILE
I am a 32-year UPS Employee. The last 6 of which involved managing
over 2 million dollars of yearly salaried employees daily. This involved integrating operational requirements balanced against DOT and OSHA regulations to balance the scorecard and make the business plan. UPS is a union company so following the guidelines of the contract and employee relations is of equal importance as well. Managing employees in a customer service role, both internal and external, often required creative and decisive decision making. My role at UPS was multi-faceted, both fast paced and process oriented with emphasis placed equally on long- and short-term goals.
