Electrical Engineer
Assisted in building/ retrofitting labeling machines for containers of Folgers coffee. Ran cables and wired up cabinets and other components and assembled onto machine. Retrofitted old machines by taking out old components and replacing with new versions.
Built and tested cap boxes that output different capacitor values for testing equipment. Soldered circuit boards and assembled components for boxes according to procedure.
Repaired industrial drives by taking them apart and using Huntron to troubleshoot circuit boards looking for bad components and replacing with new.
Upgraded ultrasonic washing machine with new PLC, and wrote program in Wago e!Cockpit.

Used AutoCAD Electrical (ACADE) for electrical design including device layout, schematic and control panel design and communication architecture, completed 3 days of ACADE training.
Completed I/O extracts and I/O setups from control panel schematics to design the PLC program in RS Logix/Studio 5000.
Completed control panel checkout process comparing schematics to actual wiring to make sure equipment is connected properly, making sure all equipment labels are present and correct, and checking for proper function of I/O points. Completed electrical safety training.

Used AutoCAD to design various components for assembly lines including racks for smaller parts and pallets for large parts by learning which parts are needed to build several types of compressors.
Designed racks in AutoCAD for assembly line consolidation plan.
Performed time studies for assembly line processes to see where efficiency can be improved and use for design of new assembly line.
