Project Description:

Anthem Inc formerly known as WellPoint is largest health insurance company in the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association with headquarters in Indianapolis, The Consumer Portal web application provides health plan members access to their plan benefits and claims information etc. The system supports various health plan members from different backend systems. Application is developed using Java micro services and Angular UI. It also uses Mainframe as the backend system that store and process Member, Subscriber and Provider Information.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Leading Transformation Project Initiative by acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Primary Liaison between Portfolio, Program and Scrum Team.

Involved in complete Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of the Digital Portal using Agile Methodology.

Analysing business requirements and conduct GAP analysis focused on End customer experience.

Documenting the business requirement to technical requirements in the form of user stories in JIRA with the required GHERKIN language.

User Stories to aid in Behavioural Driven development (BDD) using Cucumber (for automation).

Generating the LOE’s depending upon the complexity and technical jargon involved for the requirements.

Preparing/Modifying the Use-case that are needed by the Dev/Test teams to understand the end-end flow

Helping Senior Leadership team build business case to justify transformation initiative.
