Perform supplier quality assurance for suppliers in Augusta, Ga. Performed initial PPAP review, FEMA, W-HTX heat treat audits, ISO 9001; 2000 quality audit, TS 16949-2000 audits. Reviewed all nonconforming issues because of the audits and PPAP issues. Revamped supplier corrective action program to make it more dynamic to track and closeout suppliers’ deficiencies. Initiated a program, which closed out 28 delinquent corrective action replies.
Issuing and follow-up to closure of Corrective Action Reports with suppliers for nonconforming products shipped to E-Z-GO. This includes interfacing with internal engineers and management staff as well as manufacturing associates to understand the nonconformance and its effect on manufacturing and / or the product, then to communicate the issues clearly to the supplier.
