CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS
Arij is an Architect with an experience gained in variety of building types and roles assigned between conceptual design, Interior design, project management, coordination and technical support in site. She was involved in a variety of projects' types /sectors ranging from Commercial, Sports facilities, Transport, High rise, Office, car parks, Residential to leisure and hospitality.
She has gained her experience while working on projects in Qatar such as: Al shaqab hotel, Qatar Social Works office village, Qatar University Sports and Events complex, Al Wakrah National wholesale and Central Market, Shopping village Equestrian Complex at Al shaqab, Qatar Petroleum District fit-outs proposals, art district at National museum of Qatar, Business hotel in Oman, HMC projects, Al Shaqab Hotel, New Doha International Airport (Main terminal, Emiri terminal, airline operations facility, Cargo Facility) and the Lulu Mall at Abu Sidra site. Other responsibilities including some business development projects have been part of the career path.
She has the capability of using graphical softwares to convey design concepts/ integrate different building systems (AutoCAD- 3ds max (V- ray), Adobe Photoshop, Sketch–up, Revit, Microsoft office, Snag-R). Team work, time management, and flexibility to changing situations and environments with capabilities in collaborating with various disciplines involved in the Architecture/ Construction industry, are major work skills that she has.
She is an (MME) registered architect in Qatar, a member of Qatar green building council, and a VMA certified person. She has been through trainings workshops: PMP, Value engineering module 1, NFPA 101, LEED V4 concepts, way finding & digital signage.
