Coordinated Quality Team with Process Engineering, Production Management, and Supply Chain to deliver high quality product on-time, in full, and within spec. KEY CONTRIBUTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor Material Rejects and Customer Complaints to identify trends in Product Nonconformances and determine Root Cause and the appropriate Corrective Action.

Assist Senior Quality Manager with Supplier/Customer Quality Agreements and hosting ISO and Customer Audits.

Managed five Direct Reports, including four Quality Technicians (over 3 shifts) and one Quality Systems Specialist.

MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER MILWAUKEE TOOL – MILWAUKEE, WI 2018-2019 Manufacturer of power tools, lighting, instruments, hand tools, storage, work gear, and accessories. SCOPE & CHALLENGE: Hired to Design, model, and test new products within the Saws and Nailers team in New Product Development. Member of a cross-functional team of eight, to incorporate “New to Milwaukee” tool features. KEY CONTRIBUTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Developed Test Plans for three Prototype Builds to ensure products met benchmarks in performance and reliability.

Conducted a Design of Experiments that identified key variables to increase product performance.

Assisted Reliability Engineer with performing Durability Testing to maintain project timeline.

Applied field research and lab data to identify extreme common applications for product, and to simplify test plan. PROJECT:

KEY CONTRIBUTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Performed an economic study on 3D-printing of fiber reinforced composite materials focusing on part quality, material selection, and the use of support material.

Prints using carbon fiber reinforced PA6 filament calculated to be 10% cheaper compared to non-reinforced PA6 filament, and were shown to achieve more extreme overhangs without support, cutting material and print times.

Designed and produced multiple tools and fixtures with 3D-printing. MS MECHANICAL ENGINEERING STUDENT RESEARCH ASSISTANT UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-MADISON, MADISON, WI 2016-2017 PROJECTS:

Machined an electrospinning collection apparatus to control fiber length and orientation, and several fixtures to test cell adhesion with CNC Mill under the direction of Professor Lih-Sheng (Tom) Turng.

Fabricated samples of composite blood vessel tissue scaffolds using electrospinning, and conducted tensile testing.
