Academic Project Detail

TITLE: The Smart Garbage Monitoring and Controlling using IOT.

Environment: Arduino IDE and MAT LAB.

Description: The project entitled the smart garbage monitoring and controlling using IOT which used to segregate the Waste materials like metals, plastics and wet wastes. In this system Arduino microcontroller is used because the entire system program instructions stored in it. The ultrasonic sensor placed on the lid which detects the garbage level in the bins. Metal and Moisture sensor is used to detect and separate the metal items and the wet items. Image processing using “SURF ALGORITHM” is used to identify plastic. Here all the movement is done by using Servo Motor.K-Nearest Neighbour Algorithm is used in GSM Module for sending alert messages to the nearest authority. So that all the operations are either controlled or monitored by using IOT
