ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing EHS (Environment, Health &Safety) plan for the project as per the Contract requirement.
Daily site inspection in order to observe physical conditions of work and the work practices and procedures followed by workers and reporting to project manager.
Preparing JSA (Job Safety Analysis) and there SWP (Safe Work Procedure) for any hazardous activities at site.
Organize Tool Box meetings, induction programmes for the workers as required.
Organize and conduct safety committee meetings to evaluate effective implementation of EHS Plan.
Evaluate, approve and monitor different type of permits like work at Height, Safe entry permit, Hot work permit, Excavation Permit etc.
Attend to internal and external audits.
Generate the records for closure of NCRs raised by Client.
Document the case studies of various types of accidents at site and prepare analysis of accident data for bench marking purpose.
Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.
Ensure adequate and timely procurement and maintenance of personal protective equipments as per standards.
Daily monitoring the site and find out the safety lapses and inform to the Project In charge to guide the execution team to rectify the same.
Ensuring documentation and record management as per statutory and corporate guide lines.
Investigation all accident,Near miss incident & imposing the recommendation at site.
Periodically discussed with contractor through safety communication Meeting.
Coordinating with client, government bodies for safety at work site.
Maintaining good Housekeeping and industrial hygiene.
Educate people for proper use of PPE’s.
Preparing safe working procedure based on job safety analysis.
Conduct mock drills on First Aid Cases, Fire fighting and rescue, Emergency evacuation, rescue of person hanging at height during height work.
Record & File the TPI certificate of all Lifting Tools & Tackles engage at site.
Check the implementation of work permit system at site and record them.
Documentation of safety activities.
Daily monitoring the site and find out the safety lapses and inform to the Project In charge to guide the execution team to rectify the same.
