JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

HIGH RISE BUILDINGS PROJECT

• Carried out supervision of installation and maintenance of high voltage and low voltage equipments such as generators, motors, transformers, UPS, switchgears, control panels and substations

• Involved in technical and management supervision along with site execution.

• All electrical low and medium voltage installation works which were being carried out as per BOQ specification and materials as per standard

• Planning and execution on the electrical side for MEP projects closely monitoring the construction activities attending weekly meetings at site with Engineer and Consultants.

• Review and approval of shop drawings and material submittals submitted by contractors.

• Installations of all electrical works were carried out as per approved shop drawings ensuring compliance with safety requirements and as per standards

• Coordinate with Mechanical, civil and architect engineers, discuss technical aspects of electrical system for the successful completion of the project.

• Electrical installation (Internal and external)- Addressable fire alarm system, security systems(cctv and access control),interior and external lighting, dimming lighting control systems.

• LV switchgear substation, installation of transformers, termination into the panel boards

• Following higher management time schedule instructions and advices, reporting work field condition problems and status to higher management and following activities of other departments.

• Coordinate with contractor for fast progress on site implementation and material availability at site

• Conduct weekly site inspections and prepare monthly site reports

• Conduct inspections for quality control and coordinate with engineer for the installation approvals comply with comments given. AIRPORT PROJECT

• Inspection of electrical equipments and the testing and commissioning for all electrical equipments.

• Conducting CTA,STA and FTA for all equipments

• Testing and commissioning of airport systems like Passenger loading bridge

(PLB), Aircraft docking system (ADS) and Apron flood lighting.

• Installation and commissioning of 11 KV Switchgears, Switchboards,

• Hi-Pot testing and meggering of various equipments.

• Substation energisation : pre-commissioning activities for energisation of transformers – testing continuity, meggering, HIPOT testing for cables

• Coordinate with other departments to solve all problems involved in energisation procedure.

• Conduct functional test for emergency switch gear panel under 6.6kv.

• Testing of Automatic transfer switch under 6.6kv.

• Electrical installations works like cabling,earth pit,HT&LT panels

• Conduct stability test for bus bars.

• Verify all the documents related to CTA, STA and FTA.

• Conduct functional test for emergency switch gear panel under 6.6kv.

• Testing of Automatic transfer switch under 6.6kv.

• Testing of CT, P.T., CVT, Circuit breaker, switch gear and Power Transformer

• Stability checking of power transformers, generator, and Motors.

• Trouble shooting of all Electrical circuits, control and protection circuits

• Monitoring the testing and commissioning progress of all equipments and push the contractors to meet the testing and commissioning target based on our plan.

• Monitoring, testing & commissioning of project on time with best quality and safety standards of projects, includes manpower deployment.

• Conduct power outage test and verify all the equipments are behaving according to their design both on normal and emergency power supplies.

• Conduct ATS (Automatic transfer switch) testing based on the BMS signaling and ensure the signaling and control cable terminations are correct by coordinating with BMS team.
