Managed a Utilities operation with 300,000 lbs/hr steam generating capacity, two plant cooling water systems, 10,000 ton mechanical refrigeration system, compressed air production and Dowtherm heating, all of which utilize DCS control systems.
Responsible for all major raw material handling and unloading of 100M lbs/yr. via railcar and tanker truck, an integral part of the site redesign to handle unloading of bulk ocean containers, saving the company $300K annually.
Responsible for the $2M annual purchase of additives, finishes and chemicals for the manufacture of Polyester Fiber.
Led 40 operators in the safe and environmentally compliant operation of the sites Utilities/Plant Services operations.
Responsible for Title V compliance, adherence to site ESHA policies and procedures, ISO 9001 compliance, Spec Management Administration for the site and previous leadership role in both Chemical and Physical Laboratories.
