Name of Organization : ORACLE 11g, CORE JAVA at NIT, HYDERABAD Duration : 5 Months (01.02.2012 - 30.06.2012)
ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
B.TECH (POWER THEFT PROTECTION FOR ELECTRICAL SUPPLY) In this project, a system is design to prevent power theft from the distribution power line. This system is basically designed using CT and PT to prevent meter bypass technique. The measuring instrument outputs are connected to 8-bit microcontroller and alarm to prevent the meter bypass condition. The energy theft system is designed here founds to be operating quit satisfactorily in the laboratory condition. This system can be implemented in the field for testing purpose. M.TECH (ENHANCING ELECTRIC POWER QUALITY USING DVR BASED COMPENSATION) The objective of this project work is to detect and discuss power quality issues that exist in electrical power system and the effects of these over entire power network. In order to mitigate power interruptions, this research proposes a scheme called “DYNAMIC VOLTAGE RESTORER”. The proposed scheme is able to quickly recognize the voltage sag or swell condition, and correct the voltage by either boosting the input voltage.
MASTER CERTIFICATE COURSE IN AUTOMATION & PROCESS CONTROL:
TRAINING EXPOSURE :
6 months of “Master Certificate course in Automation & Process Control” from Central Tool Room & Training Center, Bhubaneswar from 6-9-2016 to 4-3-2017.This course comprises the following subjects ELECTRICAL HARDWARE CONTROL, PLC PROGRAMMING, SCADA and HMI SYSTEM DESIGN, PNEUMATIC & HYDRAULICS CONTROL, PROCESS CONTROL SYSTEM (DCS, LAB VIEW), E-CAD, AC/DC MACHINE TEST, SENSOR APPLICATION, TIA PORTAL, ROBOTICS, VLSI & EMBEDDED SYSTEM DESIGN, PROJECT WORK.
PROJECT NAME: AUTOMATIC PRODUCTION OF EDIBLE SPOON : Edible spoon (Eco-spoon) removes the need for non-biodegradable disposable plastic spoons. Eco spoon is made up of various materials like rice, wheat, millet, sugar, and oil. It is a future objective of the present invention to provide a method and apparatus for making such an edible food product. This “Make-In-India” venture with an aim at environmental amelioration is already up and running in small scale industry. However, the manufacturing process of this material is completely manual. Hence, edible spoon can be manufactured through a complete automation using PLC & SCADA design. Using automation process, the cost of production will go down.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY:
Verification of the apparatus with various hacking methods with respect to meter calculation loop holes.
Documentation of technical Design concept.
Implementation of PLC Logic for fault detection and correction related to Ladder logic.
I was involved in understanding the functionality.
Status reporting on daily basis.
