PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR ROCKY MOUNTAIN INSTITUTE, COLORADO, U.S.A NOVEMBER 2015 TO DECEMBER 2017

Handled logistics, outreach, stakeholder communications and other project management duties for the Institute on behalf of the Government of St. Lucia, as a part of a regional program to increase renewable energy across the Caribbean. I also supported the Request for Proposals (RFP) process to award a US $12 million contract for a photo-voltaic (solar) facility for utility-scale electricity generation.

·Managed the financial accounting information system and prepared all computerized accounting reports, budgets, variance analyses and financial statements. I also managed the financing of large and small infrastructural construction projects, worth approximately US$15 million, from RFP to final payment. I also ensured compliance with agreements with partner agencies and Governments.

·Invest St. Lucia is a Government organization designed to promote and enable foreign and local investment in St. Lucia and expand economic opportunities. In the role of Chief Operating Officer, I was responsible for finance, accounting, administrative, technical and human resources functions of the organization. Operational and financial oversight, customer and supplier relations, financial management and Human Resources and business development. While in this role, investment expanded by thirty percent and interest in our organization increased substantially, due to the expansion of marketing, internet, and social media promotion under my watch.

NATIONAL PROJECT COORDINATOR FOOD AND AGRICULTURE ORGANIZATION OF THE UNITED NATIONS NOVEMBER 2008 TO NOVEMBER 2010

·For two years, as national project coordinator, I maintained relationships between project personnel and relevant St. Lucia government agencies and stakeholder organizations. I managed all procurement and reporting activities according to United Nations and European Union guidelines. I took charge of submitting monthly project reports to the FAO head office according to protocols, and also performed variance analyses. I also contributed to the preparation of detailed work plans and key project indicators (KPI).
