I have a keen interest in engineering design, electronics and mechanics. This is based on the understanding of fluid mechanics, electronics and control, material science and human factors in engineering. My interest in mechanical engineering has deepened through the various projects I have done both in school and in the short time in university High School: 2015-2017

Work Experience

Technical intern - Trinity Mechanical Holdings, Dubai (2018) Worked with machine operators and with the Human resources department to efficiently create a skill matrix that would help the company assess its works to give them increments and bonus pay.

Assisted the design team in the making of ball bearings and gears for construction vehicles.

Assistant - Al Hai Motors, Dubai (2016)

I worked with the technicians refurbishing engines of various different cars. General Assistant - University of Southampton, UK (2019) Assisted the residences team over the summer in various roles including, inventory management, receptionist and electrical services.

Worked with a PhD student on a waste recycling and management project. I assisted in data collection.

Skills and Achievements

1. I am experienced in Solidworks, COMSOL Multiphysics, Ansys, Python 3 and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).

2. I have also gained experience using the PTV Route Optimiser tool during my dissertation while working with the Transportation Research Group, University of Southampton.

3. I am currently in the process of launching a website (mylearnin-hub.com). It is aimed to be a resource hub for high school students learning from home around the world. It will soon have resources for university students too. For which I have learned to use the website creator tool WIX.

4. Led my team in a project where we built a system that would automate the first responder units during emergencies like fire, using drones. This project won the Manipal university Competition.

I used my skills of team and project management to efficiently work my team of 6. Being proactive I was able to solve problems efficiently. 5. Was a part of a team that came up with a thesis that explains how we could use magnetic levitation to come up with a mode of transportation for the future. My ability to be innovative and creative while motivating myself helped our team place 4th out of more than 200 schools in the United Arab Emirates. 6. I was the president of the Hindu Society at University of Southampton. I was elected for this post by the members for my reliability and responsibility. Taking up this role has improved my time management skills, my ability to see the bigger picture to understand the consequences of my decisions and plan accordingly. I also improved my interpersonal and communication skills Extra-curricular Activities

1. Competed at the Battle of Bollywood competition as the male lead of the University of Southampton dance team.

2. One of the youngest volunteers with the International Association of Human Values. 3. Worked with NGO Future hope in India to help in teaching underprivileged children science in a fun way in a cost-efficient scheme.

4. I am a part of Engineers Without Borders, where I am currently working on a man- powered washing machine.

5. I am an avid photographer. I take pictures for my leisure and professionally for events hosted by societies at university.

6. I have been practising yoga and meditation from the age of 8. I have also been taking yoga classes.

7. I am a self-taught guitarist and have even performed at the World Cultural Festival in Berlin in 2011.
