JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Generally responsible for implementations and monitoring of all electrical related works at site.

Estimate, prepare and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all electrical and related works prior to execution.

Plans and analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best option to his superior for approval prior to execution at site.

Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met on daily basis for all electrical groups at site.

Submits site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required.

Supervising the workers according to have good workmanship.

Ensure the quality, quantity and accuracy of the work.

Manages directly and provide engineering and technical supports to all the electrical work groups at site.

Plans the execution of all electrical related works and coordinates the works to mechanical and civil teams.

Preparation of As-Built drawings as per installation of services depending upon Site co-ordination.

Execution of all Electrical works as per DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, Civil Defense regulation and project specification.

Raising the Work Inspection Request and getting approvals by the consultant as per work completed.

Raising Material Inspection Request and approvals by the consultant as per approved material Submittal.

Implementing the specification and completing the job as per drawings.

Implementing the HSE policies as per main contractor’s requirements and project specific.

Liaison with Consultants and Main contractor for the progressive site activities.

Periodic walk around to inspect MEP site activities and to ensure all the Electrical installation of equipment as per the standards and specification.

Testing, Commissioning and Troubleshooting of all LV, ELV Distribution systems. DESIGN ENGINEERING EXPOSURE

Load Schedule preparation.

Preparation of Electrical Schematic Drawings.

Diversity Factor Calculations for Load Estimation.

Voltage Drop Calculations for Cable Selection.

Calculation for Capacitor Bank selection.

Extra low voltage system designing.

Coordinate with Architect lead consultant, main contractor and sub contractors.

Busbar trunking/ Bus duct designing.

Busbar trunking voltage drop calculation and coordination with specialist busbar manufactures.

Reviewing shop drawings, material submittals and method statement.

DEWA Submission of Schematics and Load Schedule.

Interaction with DEWA design engineers along with our Construction Manager at DEWA premises for the approval of Electrical Schematics and Load Schedule prior site inspection by DEWA.

Applying for DEWA site inspection.

Review of Shop Drawings, prior submission to Consultant Approval.

Review of Material Submittal and its compliance statement for Consultant Approval.

Completing the necessary QA documentation related to the work.

Preparation of as built drawings.
