Work experience:

CALIBRE SYSTEMS INC. - April 2019 – March 2020

Business Support Specialist/Technical Writer supporting the Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) headquartered on Redstone Arsenal. We also had a separate Calibre group located on Kwajalein, a small island in the south Pacific. Myself and a work partner helped gather requirements and specifications for each mission; then provided various documents describing how to plan and execute each mission, including test planning. We also coordinated with various team members located on Edwards Air Force Base in California, from which missiles are launched, aimed at various airborne targets over the ocean.

INSAP SERVICES, INC. - Oct 2018 – March 2019

Served as a Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW) SME as a member of Team InSap on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. Position was with the Logistics Data Analysis Center (LDAC), formerly LOGSA, to help plan and monitor the transition of logistics data to the Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW). Planned and wrote project documents as part of the transition effort and provided customer support to a multitude of both government and commercial clients. Duties were part of the AESIP DISA Migration Teams, located on Redstone Arsenal and Ft. Eustis, VA.

SAWTST LLC - Sept 2017 – Feb 2018

Worked on Redstone Arsenal for the Logistic Support Activity (LOGSA) division. Our defined mission provided on-time, integrated logistics data, information and expert analysis and support of Army operations worldwide. LOGSA is the home for the Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), the Army’s official storehouse for collecting, storing, organizing and delivering logistics data. Our team provided critical logistics information capabilities through analytical tools and business intelligence solutions to acquire, manage, equip and sustain the material needs of the U.S. Army.

MOUNTAIN LAKES BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CARE – April 2016 – August 2017

Work alongside the IT Director to safeguard, protect, and prevent intrusion on the corporation’s wealth of data, databases, and health records, covered under the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996. Use a plethora of anti-virus hardware/software, including Kaspersky and Barracuda; monitoring ALL user activity on our server network, including scanning all incoming/outgoing email through our Exchange server to ensure a sterile environment. Completed attendance at the 2016 National Cyber Security Summit held in Huntsville.

CONTRACT SERVICES – January, 2015 –March, 2016

Performed business analyst, training, and other communications related activities for multiple companies during the year. Maintained security clearance and performed consulting duties in the Huntsville/Redstone Arsenal community in north Alabama. Extensive business analyst skills in the DoD arena, as I have career experience on three major military installations.

Data Analyst onsite at PAX River U.S. Naval Air Station (NAS), working with the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) endeavor. Compiled and analyzed aviation data imported from 16 various arenas, based on type of model, to determine future business rules to better enhance data flow and analysis efforts. Managed all training endeavors, with years of experience as an Instructional Designer.

SOURCE MEDICAL INC. – May, 2012 – December, 2013

As a Business Systems Designer (BSD)/Trainer, my tasks included monitoring, testing, and soliciting customer input on how to better enhance/improve Source Medical’s array of medical software applications. I am considered an expert as an Instructional Designer, defining/writing business cases, use cases, managing requirement specifications, defining test cases, and managing others to project completion. I am a goal-oriented people-person with team building skills.

FUTURE TECHNOLOGIES, INC. (FTI) - August, 2011 – May, 2012

Analyzed, monitored, and tested the Velocity application system and relevant database interface for each aspect of the application system. The system is used by DPF clients within the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama. . Used Adobe Captivate/Presenter, Lync, Direct Connect Online (DCO), and other computer-based training (CBT) tools to design/deliver long-distance learning sessions to government/customer personnel. Many years experience in developing training material, and presenting classes. As an analyst, I also extracted requirements and suggested enhancements from users and team members on how to upgrade the system for future releases. Used Cognos to generate data reports and diagrams. In that effort, I then planned/wrote course guides and functional requirement specification (FRS) documents to provide development staff details in their upgrade efforts. As a Microsoft Certified Trainer, also managed and developed all our training needs.

COMPUTING TECHNOLOGIES (COTS) - January, 2009 – August, 2011

Business Analyst/Trainer onsite at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama, supporting the U.S. Army Logistics Support Activity (LOGSA) division. Wrote functional requirement specifications (FRS), and helped tutor students on implementing/using new logistics management tools developed at LOGSA. I planned/wrote all instructional designer materials, and helped tutor Defense Acguisition University (DAU) students on implementing/using new logistics management tools developed at LOGSA.

Helped build the Oracle Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), which contained millions of records of logistics data. Then used Cognos to query and generate statistical reports and charts. Have written detailed business analyst specifications, course documents, and have always been considered a team-builder in my career.

BENTLEY SYSTEMS INC. - October, 2006 – January, 2009

Taught customers through web-based learning tools how to incorporate database-connectivity into their standard MicroStation (CAD) environment, including Bentley Map. Also performed Mapping/Geospatial/Database support for Bentley North American Operations Unit (NAOU) Technical Support Group (TSG). Performed other support responsibilities as requested, such as resolving escalated international support requests, planning/writing course documents, and assisting with classes. Used Remedy, SQL Server, and then helped migrate department to SAP for our customer relations management repository. Help Desk Institute (HDI) graduate, and attended Oracle10G DBA training.

Performed duties as a software Support Analyst and Technical Instructor in the Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions (IMGS) division. As a Sr. Systems Engineer, I taught the GeoMedia, GeoMedia Professional, and MGE suite of software, which are all mapping/GIS products. I am considered an expert in the Instructional Designer area, and helped plan/design//implement a new training center at Intergraph. I also helped develop and wrote software requirement specifications, detailed product quality assurance and certification test plans. Attended Fred Pryor Management School and graduated the Phillip Crosby Quality Educational System, which teaches Quality Improvement Through Defect Prevention.
