Mohawk College Capstone Project December 2019
This project involved the design and creation of a virtual network for a fictitious company. It began with the creation of the virtual machines used to host the router and the firewall. The next step included creating and configuring the active directory server to manage company computers and user accounts. An email server was created, and digital certificates were used to provide encryption when using email. A company, DMZ was created to host a web server as well as a honey pot server. Lastly, VPN was installed as an add-on for the firewall and configured for the use of two-factor authentication.
