Center for Global Change Science Toronto, Ontario
CGCS is a research group focusing on understanding the global scale effects of human activities on the Earth.
Used R to analyze 34 years of vegetation and
atmospheric data to study the peak season plant
activity in the northern hemisphere. Concluded that peak activity is occurring earlier and vegetation is getting denser. I used this findings to co-author an academic paper that was published on Global Change Biology.
To complete this project, I self-learned R with the supervisor’s guidance to derive insights in one summer. Education
