JOB OVERVIEW

Classification: Internal

To manage all voyage related activities and all associated communications as defined within Company’s standard operating procedures, but not limited to:

- Network Delivery: Responsibility for delivering the service framework as per the Business Plan with a focus on on-time performance and cargo delivery promises

- Operational Costs: Accountability for USD 250 Million fixed voyage and variable cargo handling costs, budgeting and forecasting.

- Ensure the learning's and success from each voyage are communicated with stakeholders

- Schedule Management: Continuous focus on meeting and exceeding schedule integrity targets.

- Utilisation: Drive continuous improvement in capacity utilisation, productivity improvements and deployment of assets

- Liaise with husbanding agencies to determine various SLA variables and yearly reviewing by providing feedback to procurement teams. Track exceptions raised with management

- Cargo Handling and Stowage Management: Responsibility for cargo care, cargo planning and stowage activities and for supporting tools, systems and processes

- Formulate and implement key operational initiatives and projects including development of fit for purpose network scheduling solution.

- Deliver a robust & sustainable operational network that meets the current and future growth needs of the liner trades.

- Develop internal and external partnerships that are fit for purpose and sustainable and promote cost effective and optimized utilization of resources and assets to deliver centralized Line Operations across the ML Shipping network.

- Implement a structured business improvement framework that optimizes performance of internal resources and assets that promote “Raising the Bar” initiatives across Line Operations;

• Worked on the ULSFO transition project and executed successful trials to achieve cost optimisation. Classification: Internal

• Worked in overseas offices for operations transformation project out of Copenhagen, London, New York and Singapore for Maersk Line.

• Bringing along 6 years of operations and optimisation experience across three continents liner operations and economy.

• Good knowledge of all the markets covering Asia, Arabian Gulf, Europe and the Americas by continuously working with all the regions and chartering/freight trading teams.

• Successfully presented the Tiger project to the Finance Ops team serving the LOC in Maersk Line business for non-efficient port calls with data and analytics.

• Worked with the Fuel Optimisation Team, Maersk Line and R & D team in development and execution of Eco Voyager tool resulting in efficient vessel routeing on pool and owner’s vessels.

• Successfully performed the transformation of inter liner operations playbook.

• Successfully took over the responsibility of superuser for Ice Wrap (communication/mail system) providing continuous improvement feedback and efficient communication between various departments offshore/onshore/vessels.
