Responsible for general repairs but not limited to; painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, windows, and general mechanical areas in the University Union and Well facilities on the Sacramento State campus. Assists full-time mechanics in remodeling and renovation on mechanical heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Assumes responsibility for the monthly inspection of fire extinguishers of the University Union and Well Buildings. Performs emergency repair services within facilities as necessary.

Assist full-time welding specialists with the responsibility of checking the quality control of welded pipes. Learned about the manufacturing process of fabricating mass amounts of fire sprinkler pipes. Learned the different types of welds and how to read engineering drawings.
