Overall engineering and technology development responsibility in the areas of current product improvements and new product development for Large Mining Trucks (794, 796, 798). Some projects I have worked on with help from up to 6 design engineers:

- Engine installation: air intake, exhaust and cooling systems, cold start, body heat,

- Hydraulics: brakes, suspension and steering, hose on tube routing, pumps and motor selection, lubrication system.

- Autonomous truck: hydraulics servo controls, electronics packaging and cooling.

- Light fabrication: removable battery box and other electrical enclosures and brackets, fuel tank, access ladders, platforms, cab ventilation and sealing, cab plastic trim.

Design engineer for mining equipment. In this position I use Solid Works and Autocad to design heavy duty maintenance equipment for SAG, AG Ball and Rod mills.

Lead design engineer in vehicle group in charge of vehicle layout for Case IH Magnum tractor and New Holland T8000 tractor with design responsibility from concept, design, testing to production for the structural parts like frame, engine mounts, cab mounts, ROPS.

Coordinated vehicle integration activities with active role in design of the CVT transmission using mechanical-hydraulic power transfer. Performed tractor architecture and optimization studies, vehicle dynamics, steering analysis and hood system and suspension simulations.

Other components I worked on: shields, front and rear axles, hydraulic and electrical systems, transmission housing, engine systems, hood assembly and loader components. I performed stress analysis for critical structural parts. Close cooperation with casting, fabrication and machining suppliers.
