Implementation of Improved Adaptive P&O algorithm for harnessing maximum power and improving power quality.
The project based on the PV system, which involves 30KW PV array for the integration of PV system to utility grid. By using Advanced P&O technique.
Improved Adaptive Perturbation and Observation Algorithm with adaptive perturbation size for maximum power point tracking along with the basic overview of MPPT.
The performance of the IA P&O algorithm is examined, by varying solar illumination, and simulation results are obtained in Matlab/Simulink.
Power quality has to be maintained as per IEEE-519 when photovoltaic system is connected with utility grid.
The above mentioned project details is successfully completed by using Simulink. PROJECT 2
Power Quality Improvement using shunt active filters.
Power quality improvement has become a major research topic in modern power distribution system.
By using the non-linear loads, harmonics are induced. To eliminate these harmonics we use APF (active power filter) at PCC.
In this project we have developed single phase power filter in MATLAB/SIMULINK. Based on the hysteresis current controller.
By using this project, we have maintained the power quality. My Role:
Designing of single phase active power filter (APF) using SIMULINK by using hysteresis band controller.
