I worked as a Registered and Licensed Professional Nurse in several areas of the organization:

● Intensive Care Unit March 2019 to Present

This is an integrated ICU caring for a wide range of specialties including: Cardiac Surgical, Cardiac Interventional, Vascular, Neurological, Neurosurgical, Trauma, and Medical critically ill patients. Also functioned in the lead nurse role and preceptor.

● Cardiac Cath Lab Prep and Recovery December 2018 to May 2019 Prepped and Recovered patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and interventional radiological procedures. I was PRN in this role.

● Cardiovascular Thoracic Unit June 2016 to March 2019 Step-down/progressive care unit specializing in care for patients recovering from open heart surgery, pacemaker placement, cardiac catheterization, vascular surgeries, and respiratory illness. I worked as a lead nurse, preceptor, and participated in various committees.

● Long Term Acute Care August 2013 to June 2016

Cared for patients who had stays from 3 weeks to 16 months. This unit had medical, telemetry, and critical care patients. I cared for a variety of diagnoses ranging from complex wounds to management trached patients needing long term ventilation. I worked as both a RN and LPN.

● Specialist of Internal Medicine July 2012 to August 2013 Worked as a LPN in a clinic with 10 providers who saw 25-35 patients each, daily. I entered provider orders, refilled prescriptions, administered injections, answered phones, called diagnostic results, and filled out paperwork for prior authorizations and FMLA paperwork.
