PROJECT TITLE: BIOGAS GENERATION FORM CO-DIGESTION OF FOOD WASTE AND SEWAGE SLUDGE
• Investigates the effect of pre-treatment on solid waste from the food waste co-digest with sewage sludge for anaerobic digestion (AD) treatment when is
conducted using bio-methane potential (BMP) test.
• The sample is pre-treated in four different methods. Pre-treatment methods to enhance the anaerobic
digestion of food waste, including thermal (50 C̊), chemical (HCI) and thermochemical methods.
• This experiment determined thermochemical pre-
treatment method, most favorable and effective which produced more methane gas in anaerobic digestion.
