Chosen to represent PCL at the WCP safety forum for Exxon and Imperial in Fort Mcmurray for my involvement in the Safety Champion program.
I lead the Safety Champion meetings involving 2 craft from every trade on site taking over for our construction manager and general superintendent as meeting host.
Received the 2nd gold coin ever from the U&O turnaround managers on the Syncrude Denali shutdown for my leadership and continued support of the safety programs and motivating my crew to buy into it as well.
Chosen to represent UA Local 488 at the Alberta Building Trades conference representing 10,000 members alongside our business agents and business manager.
Became the aerial work platform competency instructor at Albian Sands for PCL. Ran 130 people through the competency course to verify sufficient experience.
