Profile

I'm Mohammed Aathil Amjath, born and raised in Sri Lanka. I am working as an Architectural & structural Draftsman of the technical department in Qatar for 3 years. I’m learning every aspect of this profession as much as I can in every way in the construction industry and I have experienced projects starting from scratch to finish construction works in different ranges and types of buildings. It’s time to push up my profession to the BIM industry and planning to pursue my studies further in design to the near future. Please check out my experiences and Qualifications.

3 years’ experience in Qatar as an Architectural & Structural Draftsman in Shannon engineering Co. W.L.L

6 months experience in Sri Lanka as an Architectural draftsman in Department of Buildings

Study IFC drawings Architectural & Structural, Preparing of presentation drawings, submission drawings As per building By Laws, Architectural drawings, Detail working drawings, Elevation, Sections, etc.

Revise computer aided designs and plans to comply with modified specifications during actual Construction.

Execution of work as per drawings, Specifications & Instructions of the Engineers. Coordination with Client and Engineers.

Preparing Civil, Architectural & Structural shop drawings and all services drawings as per required norms.

Maintain regularly updated as built drawings and records for handing over on completion of the project.

Study drawings received from Client and assist Quantity Surveyors in material take offs and preparation Of BOQ.

Responsibility to review all the outgoing drawings including required documentation associated with it.
