PROFILE

Highly experienced and resourceful Construction, Testing and Commissioning and Handover Delivery Manager with a superb record of achievement in the construction, installation and testing and commissioning of Mainline Rail, Metro and Tram, Signalling, Control (SCADA, BAC’s), MEP, Fire Life Safety and Telecommunications Systems. Recently as the Head of Operations within a MEP Company for Design and Build Projects in Qatar.

Excellent construction and delivery management, engineering, design and planning skills coupled with the ability to train, share knowledge and motivate a team or large workforce. March 2018 – Present – Operations/Delivery Manager

Operations and Delivery Manger for Qatar Mechanical Electrical & Public Health (Q-MEP). Responsible for the Company Operations and Delivery of Company projects within Qatar.

These projects include the Doha Metro Main Depot ($100 million), Doha Metro Stations and Tunnels (Red Line $2.1 billion and Green Line $1.8 Billion), Qatar Petroleum District ($30 Million), Doha Downtown Mshereib Business and Retail Project (Offices, Banks, Retail Businesses & Outlets, Hotels and Cinema to $500 million), Qatar ISF Base Construction (undisclosed) and many others. Currently working with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) on the Doha Metro and Texas High Speed Rail Depot on technical support and consultancy.

Working with the Qatar Ministry of interior, International and Local Construction and MEP Companies on other projects for the 2022 FIFA World Cup and Defense in a support role.

CAREER HISTORY

2016 – 2018 – INSTALLATION MANAGER – Thales Gulf

Responsible for the Installation/Construction Management of both Signaling, Life Safety Control and Telecommunication Systems on the Red Line and the Main Depot for the Doha Metro. This includes working closely with all parties on the project, including, The Client (Qatar Rail), The PMCS, various companies within the consortium, Civils, Sub-Contractors, Suppliers and Internal Engineering, Design, Procurement and Test Teams.

Responsible for the Testing and Commissioning of the above-mentioned systems and achieving handover into revenue service

Tasked with training site supervision and ensuring the shift reports reflected the works done, did not hide issues and empowered staff to raise concerns and building team spirit with all nationalities and engaging different cultures

Construction/Delivery Manager for Thales working on the Manchester Metro Extension and existing Network. Delivery of the Tram Management and Control System, which includes the Signalling, Tram Tracking and Detection Systems, Points and Signage, throughout the network.
