ESO, is the service order wizard that is used to create Electronic order for large business customers in CIS, currently this process involves a lot of manual work and this wizard would help automating the service order creation process for large business customers.

Contribution:

SMD Runbooks helps automate the Server Management tasks, it is used by the Server Team for Runbook tasks such as Pre-Patch and Post-Patch, before and after patching a server.

TickerTape is a windows-based application, which has all the general features like any other Ticker which displays news on a 24/7 basis. This application is built using Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 and C# programming language. The Ticker auto-launches upon system restart or fresh log-in and shows up on the top of the screen with scrolling news displayed on a 24/7 basis. The Ticker icon shows up at the system tray, which provides the user with options to Hide and Show. Only news headlines are displayed on the Ticker, upon clicking any news item the complete news in details is shown on a separate modal window. The numbers of users who use this application in Emirates Airlines IT are around 1000.

The news items are stored in Oracle database. A web service called TickerTape service was developed using Microsoft .Net technology and C# programming language to fetch the data from the database and provide to the Ticker. A web site was developed using Microsoft .Net technology – ASP.Net and C# programming language, through which the admin level users could manage news items, such as add, edit, and delete.

I have designed and developed this application, including the web service, database design and web site single-handedly.

DFO is a web-based booking engine, used by Dnata Travel Agencies (www.dnata.com), which is a part of the Emirates Group. It uses Global Distribution System (GDS) such as Galileo and Amadeus to get the latest fares of different flights. However, Low Cost Carriers (LCC), such as Jazeerairways (www.jazeeraairways.com) and Air Arabia (www.airaraia.com) doesn’t participate with GDS, due to the high cost involved.

A web service interface was developed using Microsoft .Net technology and C# programming language, to integrate Jazeeraairways and Air Arabia airlines by communicating with the APIs exposed by these airlines and providing their fares to DFO system.

Design the web methods and the authentication token for each web methods while accessing over the internet.

The system manages the different projects in the organization, provides the user with the status of a project, its team members and clients. Several users can be assigned to a project. Each user can be allowed different access rights within that project, provides the organization to manage multiple users, provides the managers to see the incomplete tasks, and automatically sends notification messages to all the members of a particular project if a particular task is not completed within the deadline.
