PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
H2 ENERGY RENAISSANCE, Los Angeles, CA 2016 - 2020
Design Engineering & Project Management
Together with the design and engineering team developed a nanoparticle and hydrogen generating technology to create vast new clean energy source and new materials based on nanotechnology.
The patented technology leverages 16 physical and chemical processes, to produce hydrogen so cheap, that consumers can utilize the technology to save up to 90% on electricity and transport fuel costs. Patent related to nanoparticle production, which is the major contributor to hydrogen production, was approved on 4/23/2019.
Solved multifaceted design and engineering problems, led and managed the prototype fabrication, and supported functional testing and troubleshooting. Evaluated test data with the scientific team for process improvements and optimization.
Managed engineers and scientists in Armenia and Ukrane.
Danaher Corporation - Axis/SybronEndo Division, Glendora, CA 2013 – 2016
Senior Product Development Engineer
Conceptualized and modeled new product designs with SolidWorks. Managed the design/development control processes in conformance with FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and the internal New Product Development (NPD) tollgate process.
Managed VOC efforts and their subsequent translation into design requirements. Managed product design (ergonomics, user-interface, mechanical design) and verification/validation activities.
Reviewed progress, evaluated results, and informed company management or project leader on project direction and status. Interacted with Process Development Engineers and Manufacturing Personnel to optimize product design for ease of manufacturing.
Led large interdepartmental and intercompany cross-functional project teams in the research, development, and launch of consumables used in root canal therapy for a $70M-grossing division of Danaher.
Managed domestic and overseas (S. Korea) engineering teams in the design, development, and testing of a new Obturation Needle Cartridge system and packaging with anticipated Y1 revenue of $2-3M.
Led numerous line extension projects for Japanese market (Stainless Steel and NiTi files).
Designed and conducted experiments to validate product performance (EndoVac).
VAVE Project Engineer,
As a VAVE Project Engineer drove VAVE (Value Add Value Engineering) projects to reduce product costs through re-evaluation of existing mature product lines, cost reduction activities to reduce manufacturing costs, reverse engineering, and through make/buy decisions to outsourcing.
