Facilities buildings for ADAC

This project consists of 2 two floors buildings with each building GFA = 6000m ; the site area is around 10000m . The project started from concept stage up to 30% schematic design tender. My responsibilities consisted of:

Designing the 2 buildings as per end-users requirements and ADAC standards during concept stage.

Meeting and coordinating with end-users and ADAC team to coordinate and implement all requirements.

Development of drawings from concept design stage to 30% schematic design stage by managing/supervising a team of junior architects and draftsmen.

Reviewing all drawings, estimating working time, and coordinating with MEP, structural team and BOQ submission.

Implementation of municipality standards, ADAC standards, fire and life safety codes and DOT codes.

Preparation of performance specifications and coordinate it with drawings and BOQ.

Responsible for Estidama requirements by implementation and coordination of all acceptable credits with regards to architectural drawings and MEP.

Al Bahrain consulate in Dubai

C Consist of consular resident villa and consulate offices within the same building (2 floors and GFA= 2400m ). My responsibilities consisted of:

Carrying out the permitting stage in Dubai municipality until get the permit approval. This was done by coordinating and managing all team members; also, full participation in all the meetings with municipality and civil defense was fulfilled. Results from these meetings such as the additional requirements and permit status were coordinated / communicated with the client.

Submitting tender to contractor with project manager and reply on RFI’s followed by the preparation of IFC drawings.

Interior design projects:

MAF project (Kids play area)

This project consists of 10 playground areas in different locations; the task was completed on all playground areas in parallel. It was a prototype interior theme designed as per site condition; In addition, the requirements were fulfilled by the proposing of new ideas. The project timeline was 1 year; my responsibilities consisted of:

Prepare concept report followed by the development of the drawings, schematic and detailed design.

Managing tender process with design manager and coordinate it with contractors.

Writing and checking specifications with drawings and Coordinating with suppliers if necessary.

Attending all coordination meetings with MEP team, client and contractors. Also, going for site inspection and replying on RFI’s

Sustainability works:

Al Raha Building – Estidama Approval (1 pearl)

This project is a residential building (G + 8 Floors + 3 basements, GFA = 17000m ). My responsibilities consisted of:

Leading and coordinating all sustainability (Estidama) requirements during project process stages.

Writing sustainability specifications.

Preparing all required reports for submission.

Biltmore Hotel Project

It was one building including 3 basements + ground floor + mezzanine and 17 floors with swimming pool on the roof and site area around the building. My responsibilities consisted of:

Studying and solving the circulation during concept design and designing a solved function circulation as per hotels design guidelines with design manager.

Implementing and developing the drawings as per NFBA, IBC and KSA regulations during schematic design stage under design manager supervision.

Preparing the required documents for tourism municipality, Amanah and KSA civil defense.

Reviewing the ID drawings and coordinating it with architectural design and MEP drawings.
