Powershift 2007 University of Iowa Campus Organizer (August 2007-December 2007)
Duties: I recruited and took 75 students from Iowa City, Iowa to Washington D.C. for the Powershift 2007 Conference. Powershift ’07 was the very first national youth summit to solve the climate crisis. We met with thousands of other students to listen to speakers, attend educational forums and numerous training sessions on organizing public interests.
