Study of MIN184 Static Converter at South Central Railway-Electric Loco-shed, Kazipet

As a part of my internship worked on analysis of static converter with a team of four members.

Studied the working of various communication devices.

PROJECT WORK

Generator and its protection at KTPP, Bhupalpally

Worked on a project with a team of four members and observed KTPP stage-I unit generates power at a voltage of 21KV. By protection, damage of Generator is minimized and over speed of the generator due to sudden load throw off is avoided. Generator working and its various methods of protection are observed.

Visited many substations nearby.

Waste water treatment by PLC & SCADA

Worked on a project with a team of five members and designed a project which deals with treatment of waste water in which waste water is treated and converted in to pure water by screening, sedimentation, chlorination and oxidation.

Designed this project in Intouch software.

Simulation of grid connected solar PV-wind system

Worked on a project under the guidance of a PhD scholar with a base paper and proposed a new topology by combining two energy sources i.e., hybrid system designed using MATLAB.

Studied different types of MPPT techniques for PV array to track maximum power point at various environmental conditions (proposed MPPT technique is P&O algorithm).

Studied different types of PWM techniques for 3-level VSI to generate the output voltage (proposed PWM technique is Sinusoidal PWM technique).
