EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Civil Engineer seeking a new opportunity to build my career. Completed internship as a structural engineer at BatiPlus Méditerranée and as a site engineer at Modern Architecture where I had the chance to check design analysis at the office and check the work done on-site.

RELEVANT PROJECTS

FYP Project - Steel roof structure for “Olympique Lyonnais Stadium“: After designing and completing many projects with reinforced concrete for buildings, bridges, and towers, my colleague and I had the courage to challenge ourselves and take a steel design project for a stadium with 60 m cantilever. We used Robot software to determine the forces in bars, and then we developed our VBA programs to determine the suitable and the optimized sections. That helped us in understanding the “Eurocodes” in detail. Finally, we drew detailed plans for sections and connections.

Structural engineer At BatiPlus Méditerrannée, Zouk Mosbeh - (internship) 2 months - Feb, Mar 2020 I Had the chance to work at BatiPlus (bureau de contrôle), where I gained experience in modeling structures, checking if the structure components meet the design requirements using international codes and software like Safe, Etabs, S-Concrete and Robots in addition to doing site visits to check if the work on-site is meeting the design plans.

Site engineer At Modern Architecture Company, Aley - (internship) 2 months - summer 2018 Gained experience in reading and executing design plans as well as solving problems with the company responsible for ready mix concrete. Checking the safety of workers on the site and supervise them for a better quality of work.

EDUCATION

Diploma in Civil Engineering (structure & public works) from the Lebanese University – Faculty of Engineering – Branch II – Roumieh, Graduated summer 2019.

Lebanese Baccalaureate (General Sciences) from Maroun Abboud secondary school – Aley.
