Camillo Bosco developed his Bachelor Thesis at AST (Advanced System Technology) – Imaging Group of STMicroelectronics – Catania Site from February 2004 to November 2004. This work has been published in proceedings of ICIAP International Conference [PUB01]. I’ve been done a stage in the Image Processing Field related to biomedical research using JAVA. This work has been done in collaboration with IPLAB group (University of Catania), Vittorio Emanuele Hospital and LIMA S.p.A. company and it has been published in proceedings of national conference EG_IT 4 Edition [PUB02]. After graduation (Master Degree) I did several web portals as Webmaster and Database Designer working for commercial activities and non profit organizations. Since January 2007 up to April 2008 I hold a Ph.D. Student position at Bioinformatics Group of University of Catania working on open source technologies (Java, Php, MySQL). I was involved in the staff of research summer school and I’m co author of some scientific papers. Since May 2008 I’ve worked as Software Engineer at Siemens A&D AS MES in Genoa working on the whole lifecycle (Requirement Specifications, Functional Specifications, Design Specifications, Development, Deployment) of software libraries made by Microsoft technologies. Since July 2009 up to September 2012 I’ve worked as Software Engineer (IT Consultant for AIVE BST S.p.A. – Capgemini Group) for Gruppo Banca Carige located in Genoa which is one of the most important banking group in Italy. In this context I’ve worked on distributed architectures developed by using JAVA/IBM technologies in desktop and web environment. Since November 2012 I’ve joined Poste Italiane S.p.A. as part time employer. In the spare time I work as software consultant.
