Product - Schoolnet 2012 to 2018

50 school districts are using Schoolnet with my help as part of a data team providing data management capabilities and data import training for an assessment reporting application with MS-SQL back-end.

Deliver high stakes assessment data resulting in districts creating meaningful reports to drive student improvement.

Deliver Equella content resulting in districts using Equella elements in user-created tests.

Deliver Item Bank integrations resulting in districts ability to select items for user-created tests. Certica, Pearson, and other item banks.

oFor these three deliverables I collaborated with internal and external staff to schedule work, analyze data dictionaries, configure tools, load data, and apply data quality tools resulting in on-time delivery.

Create skilled end-users via design and delivery of customer-facing training.

oCreate materials, test on internal staff, deliver one-on-one district training, create migration training videos for internal and district consumption.

COMPETENCIES:

oUnderstand common assessments and data dictionaries, coordinate with project managers, validate metadata of applicable item banks, validate documentation, migrate data, validate data via product reports and MS-SQL database interrogation, develop and deliver training materials, provide quotes for supplemental data migration projects.

250 School districts used Pearson Inform as a result of my work managing data project requirements, scheduling projects, loading data, manipulating data, delivering projects on-time, applying data quality concepts, and ensuring success of migration activities for a reporting application with an ORACLE backend.

Oversee data migration enterprise for districts and Pearson management to feel at ease with migration activities.

oUnderstand data dictionaries, develop training materials, validate data migration materials, provide quotes for supplemental data migration projects, review and comment on district RFPs.

Deliver migrated data to successfully use product

oPrepare customers for migration, migrate data, validate back-end database via ORACLE scripts, validate data with customer and project manager, support customers and project managers post-migration.

Ensure proper balance of migration activities

oDevelop data migration project tracking, monitor data migration projects, deliver project tracking reports. As a result, migration tasks were kept on schedule and project managers were kept informed on migration activities.
