Performed duties of Assistant Toxicologist.

Participated in proficiency testing programs required for ABFT accreditation. Testified in court regarding laboratory analysis and significance of the results. Maintained and operated instrumentation and ensures their proper operational readiness.

Developed method for quantification of gabapentin and pregabalin on LC/MS/MS. Combined morphine/codeine with synthetic opiates and 6-mam to reduces three GCMS methods into one while simultaneously reducing sample size. Setup and validated new assays for IA.

Diagnosed and repaired various laboratory instrumentation as needed. Installed new columns and ion sources for GCMS. Cleaned ion sources. Changed foreline pump oil as needed.

Made minor adjustments to Olympus AU400 such as replacing electrodes, roller pump tubing, probe/mixing bar replacements.

Contacted and worked with service engineers for GCMS if on-site service is necessary.

Maintained logs of all maintenance and repair of instrumentation. Provided supervision of subordinate personnel.

Maintained adequate inventory of equipment and supplies. Renewed and updated service contracts.
