Provides direct support and guidance to branch employees by providing ongoing coaching on credit structuring and product alternatives.

• Recommends changes for improvements of retail lending policies, procedures, documentation, products and services to strengthen Rapport Credit Union’s performance while maintain delinquency control systems on all contractual loan delinquencies. Works as an integral part of the Retail Underwriting and collection teams to provide excellent service to commercial lending and commercial account membership Key Responsibilities:

Credit Approval: Receives and considers applications for personal loans and mortgages from all branches

;formulates decisions and authorizes disbursement of funds of those loans within authorized lending lim- its, while ensuring they are made in accordance with legislation and credit union policy. Escalates with recommendations all loans involving exceptions to policy or those above authorized limits and reviews all lending declines.

• COLLECTION: Maintains delinquency control systems on all contractual loan delinquencies over and beyond 30 days which are otherwise handled at the branch level. Initiates collection action for funds owing on delinquent accounts by analyzing and assessing status of accounts and identi- fying appropriate steps to be take in accordance with established collection policy, procedures and time frames.
