I was in charge of animal care and prepping for surgery, isolating RNA from spinal cords, and using the cryostat for tissue dissection.

LAB ASSISTANT FOR DR. JEANMARIE VERCHOT, texas a&M plant pathology

I isolated DNA and RNA, did bacterial cloning with E. coli and agrobacterium, and had greenhouse duties, such as taking care of plants, seed collection and disinfecting, and infecting plants.
