Security Site Manager
October 2017 – September 2019
Managed a medium size security team that worked directly for the Gillette Corporation. Located in Andover, Ma – the Gillette campus was vast in size, at just over 30 acres. My job description included safety compliance, working with internal management on a workplace violence plan, and ensuring that all security SOP’s were followed and implemented. Other duties included managing all employees, payroll, and handling of all personnel issues. From basic to high end training was a must throughout this position. As the GSOC trainer, I was responsible for ensuring that all staff were trained on all protocols and subjects that the client desired. From simple basic security to First Aid/CPR and medical emergencies. Other subjects included workplace violence, driving vehicles, bomb threats, etc. Drills and meeting with the staff were conducted on a regular basis.
U.S. Security Associates
Supervisor
November 2016-August 2017
Supervised a team of contract Security Officers and Loss Prevention detective duties. Tasked with initial appearance from officers at the main entrance, to making apprehensions of customers stealing, and CCTV coverage being maintained at all times were within my job description. Meeting quotas, forming relationships with internal associates, and reporting facts and figures to my management was imperative.
The MITRE Corporation - Bedford, Massachusetts
Corporate Security Supervisor / Manager
Jan 2000 – Oct 2014
Position entailed supervising and managing in house and contract security personnel. The campus is over 40,000 acres in size and included numerous buildings and approximately 2,500 on campus employees. As seen below within the many hats I wore, my job included many facets of the security world. Along with Bedford, Ma, I was also involved with security issues at many other MITRE sites throughout the country. These sites were critical in importance as they support many classified security programs.
Proven track record of building solutions that support a reliable, scalable, enterprise approach. Demonstrated leadership and prior experience in building, managing, mentoring, and inspiring security and safety teams, with a proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and as budgeted. Demonstrated ability to transform, enhance, and impact organizational operations, productivity, and efficiency through development and use of digitization, automation, metrics, data/data analytics, and process reengineering to drive continuous improvement
My skillset includes physical security, investigations, and personnel security. Providing a unique perspective on predicting, preventing, and protecting the company assets allows the department to be ahead of the curve. With many years of experience and the passion for ensuring the security and safety of all involved, I feel it is imperative to provide and support all that is needed.
Supervised and managed a staff of approximately 25 individuals daily. These employees and contractors were posted throughout the corporation. From the command center, to roving patrols, alarm technicians, and locksmith, a variety of duties were completed. Following corporate policies ensuring that security practices were performed are keys a successful mission.
Supervised and managed a 24/7 Command Center. This duty covered not only the Bedford campus, but also included off site locations. With over 10,000 alarm points and 100 CCTV cameras, this position was vast in size. Interfacing with vendors, working with local law enforcement, and ensuring all equipment was up to code and working properly were imperative.
Security education for all Officers, Command Center Operators, and other employees was another task that I handled. This portion of the job was rewarding as I was able to see the results and what it meant to others.
Ranging from SCI programs, to JPAS and SIMS to everyday duties, my passion for security within today’s world is seldom matched. I enjoy liaising with other groups and companies allowing me to remain in the thick of ongoing issues. I remain proactive in the security world and strive for improvement as a security professional and as a person.

This software was instrumental in lowering theft percentages by 30% and was also instrumental in decreasing proprietary situations.
