Seismic Data Interpretation

Worked as Seismic Data Interpreter in the exploration department for one year. My experience includes the mapping of Khairpur area of Sindh and Multan north of southern Punjab. Salient features of my work are

• Correlation of Synthetic Seismogram with the Seismic section on which well was located.

• Marking of reflectors on seismic line with the help of synthetic seismogram.

• Identification of regional normal faults that were in NW-SE strike direction.

• Preparation of Time and Depth contour maps of the area that showed the Structural and Stratigraphic traps along with tilted fault blocks in the NE of the area.
