CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT
Deneisha Hill-Wade has been a trained Educator for the last 17 years. An excellent professor and youth leader, she plans, organises and implements appropriate instructional programmes in a learning environment that guides and encourages her students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. Mrs. Wade has seen immense success with students who have been identified with learning disabilities. Through her varied intervention programmes, she has used an individualized, intensive remedial instruction to achieve success amongst struggling students.
Eltham Park Primary School September 2003- present
An Educator at this institution, my responsibilities far exceeds the classroom as I exercised responsibility for the development of student leaders through the implementation of several programmes.
Member of the Guidance and Counselling Committee: responsible for assisting with the development of a school competency-based guidance model and to assist in continuous evaluation, revision and improvement of the programme.
Teacher’s Representative on the School Board: advocating and speaking on behalf of the teaching group as it relates to policies and visions set by the board in an effort to ensure that both teachers and students thrive in a healthy learning environment.
Chapelton All-Age School September 2002- July 2003
As a trained Teacher at this institution, I was also commissioned to offer Guidance and Counselling training for students in Grades 1-9. Students were counselled in groups and individually. During this time, I also worked as a classroom teacher for the Grade 2 class.
Mount Providence All Age School September 2000- July 2002
A facilitator of learning for the Grade 2 class, I was largely responsible for providing students with the information and tools they need to master a subject.
