Resume:

As I progress in my professional self-development throughout life, I have found that I enjoy

cultivating and discovering new skills. I don’t limit my abilities to only one job field and pride myself in being a modern-day renaissance woman. In short, I see myself as a person with many talents or areas of knowledge. Verity is the spice of life, and there is something new to be learned every day. I have taken on this creed and move forward with all my endeavors striving to do my best in all that life has to offer me.

Work Experience

October 2019– March 2020

Education Internship • Educational Department • Anchorage Museum The museum is a mosaic of creativity, learning, and cultural inclusion. In my position, I can refine my leadership and public speaking skills through conduction orientations for local school groups. While simultaneously teaching the youth of Anchorage about the arts and all the exhibitions offered at the Anchorage Museum. The opportunity to pay it forward to the next generation is a chance I will always cherish.

September 2015–Current

Patient Care Assistant • Reliance Care Inc.

This position is demanding, and I often find myself in the circumstance of being unappreciated. Regardless, earlier in life, I experienced what it was like to need medical assistance and had to rely on others to do basic activities. It can be just as frustrating for the patient having to come to terms with that; they can’t do things the same anymore. This notion is what I ingrain in my heart when serving my patients. May 2019–August 2019

Summer Mentor • TRIO Upward Bound Summer Mentor • TRIO Upward Bound I assisted with executing the 5-week TRIO Upward Bound Summer Academy held on the UAA campus. I was a mentor for students from economically challenged backgrounds and historically underrepresented demographics. This job made me come full circle because I was that kid in need of a mentor, and this program offered that to me. I had a lot to live up to in taking this summer position, and I flourished.
