Direct purchasing operations across three plants, continuously developing and improving processes and procedures. Coordinate material sourcing from both domestic and international sources. Spearhead setup, testing, and training for new purchasing, receiving, and A/P modules of SAP software across four plants and held responsibility for environmental and safety.

Reworked the MRO storeroom to eliminate inventory and streamline processes.

Secured $250k in savings on board for the laminate plant.

Transferred $350k of supplier products to consignment and saved $150k per year on reusing supplier pallets.

Buyer, John Deere-Hitachi Construction Machinery Corporation

Developed all procedures, critical part information, and implemented projects within an entirely new position to procure all capital, non-production, MRO, and tool crib items for the whole corporation. Established supply agreements, consignment program, and various contacts while transitioning to production parts with annual expenditures of $35M+ of components and incoming freight. Additionally served on the internal ISO audit team.

Initiated pilot program of integrated supply agreements to reduce MRO cost and save $312k annually.

Avoided inventory cost of $422k through consignment program and established contacts, LTAs, and warranty agreements of up to $3M.

Significantly aided in prototypes, pre-production, and production activities throughout the new model implementation for two John Deere and two Hitachi brand excavators located in Japan.

Developed a JIT program to reduce inventory and conserve space along with a kit ordering process to improve efficiency of incoming truckloads, line presentations, and shipping errors.
