resolved synchrotron X-ray scattering

3. WORK EXPERIENCE

i) Process development engineer (CVD, PVD), Panasonic Dec. 2017 – Present

- Development of optical and electrical properties of a-Si thin film – PECVD (AMAT), PVD.

- Device failure analysis using metrology techniques and set the countermeasures accordingly.

- Run DOE for process development and find root-cause of device failure, or quality concerns.

- Monitor SPC data and process parameters from equip. linked to MES via Minitab.

- Reliability test (UV and damp heat) and failure analysis for n-type HJT silicon solar cell.

- Qualification and validation of new equipment

ii) Process engineer (Wet), Mission Solar Energy May. 2014 – Jun. 2017

- Development of silicon surface cleaning and texturing process for n-type c-Si solar cell.

- Development of wet-assisted surface passivation process for n-type c-Si solar cell.

- Run DOE to resolve device failure or quality concerns.

- Device failure analysis and set the countermeasures depending on types of issues.

- Monitor SPC and process parameters from equip. linked MES via JMP.

- Experience with solar module reliability test (damp heat, UV, thermal cycling, etc).

iii) Research assistant, Univ. of Texas at Arlington Aug. 2008 – Dec. 2013

- Study of phase separation mechanism in bulk heterojunction organic photovoltaic cell.

- Study of synthetic routes for hydrogenated a-Si solution.

- Fabrication of organic solar module to smart window application.

- Hands on experience with metrology tool and thin-film fabrication equipment.

4. SKILLS
