PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Field man, with more than 20 years of relevant experience acquired in the domain of hydrocarbons exploitation (Natural gas and Petrochemical processing plants), as well as some water treatment units

"Shift Supervisor" in charge of facilities running under technical operations that ensures safety standards. During my shift, all team members performance were also part of my duties.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Natural Gas Boosting Station

Work duration: Eight years experienced in the natural gas pipelines transportation

Process goal: Supplying the European market with the treated natural gas by using gas turbochargers as a means of pipeline transportation. The process is monitoring by DCS and MARK/V systems.

Position held: Main shift supervisor.

Company: Sonatrach / (SH/TRC). (National Company for Hydrocarbons Processing and Trading) / Pipelines Transportation; located at Biskra /Algeria.

Natural gas Processing plant

Work duration: Eighteen years spent in the natural gas exploitation.

The process: Raw natural gas commonly collected from a group of adjacent wells is first processed to meet the standard specifications. It consists of: water and sour gases removal

(CO2 and H2

S), dehydration, condensate stabilization. Treated natural gas and condensates are pipelined by means of turbo-compressors (boosters) for further uses. The process is automatically controlled by DCS and MARKV/VI systems.

Positions gradually held: Panel technician (control room) / Shift Foreman).

Companies: Snam Projetti, Italian Company for Natural Gas processing in collaboration with Sonatrach / SH/DP (Natural gas Production Division).

Location: Rhourde-Nouss (natural gas field), Hassi / Messaoud zone / Algeria south.

Petrochemical processing plant

Work duration: three years in the Petrochemical operations sector.

The process: is based on the electrolysis of the NaCl molecule to have : Chlorine and Hydrogen” in their gas form, as well as Sodium Hypochlorite (bleach) and the “glitter- shaped Caustic Soda as final products. Liquefied chlorine gas and its specified storage are also performed to supply VCM and PVC units within the same petrochemical plant. Classic Analog regulation was used as a process control system.

EDUCATION BACKGROUND

2016: Master degree in “English Language and Foreign Cultures”; awarded by the Algerian University.

2015: Master Degree in “French Language Didactics and Cultures”; delivered from the Algerian University.

2006: Applied University Studies Degree in “Business Law”/Algeria.

1980: State diploma of senior technician in hydrocarbon exploitation(Gas/oil / Petrochemical) obtained from “IAP”, the technical Institute of Petroleum; Boumerdes/Algeria.

QUALIFICATIONS / DUTIES

As a Plant Shift Supervisor, I ‘m in charge to perform a series of tasks namely:

Contributing to startup/shutdown/ plant maintain under safe and optimal running conditions.

Monitor, maintain and optimize the process within operating parameters via the control room.

Gather data, compile information, and prepare written and verbal reports.

Perform daily operational tasks, and preventative maintenance as required.

Make quick, accurate and safe decisions in response to abnormal situations.

Coordinate activities with shift work teams and maintenance personnel (preventative maintenance and emergency field repairs).

Work 12-hour rotating shifts as a strong team player…

Showing a positive behavior in a multi-cultural environnent.

Resolve personality issues between workers and evaluate their personal performances.

Possess the related knowledge about rotating equipment, control loops and DCS operation.

Read drawings and technical manuals (Piping and Instrument as well as Process Flow Diagrams).

SKILLS

Communicate effectively in English, French and Arabic both orally and in writing.

Good use of the computer tool (Word, Excel, Power Point…).

Many short seminaries achieved with short certificates.

Technical training on “Environmental Health and Safety Policy (EHS); such as:
